The Path of a Donation

Do You Ever Wonder Where Your Donation Goes Once You Give It?  At the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina, 100% of Your Gift Is Used to Keep Our House Operating At Full Capacity-- So that We Can Serve as Many Families As Needed.

We can even trace the steps-- from your pocket to a purpose.

Step 1: It Begins With You

Your Donation is received in the mail.

Step 2:

Your gift is recorded in our database program that we use for budgeting our expenses.

If you made your gift in honor or in memory of someone special to you, we will take this time to send them an acknowlegement of your kindness.

Step 3:

Your money is deposited into our general operating account.

Step 4:

Monies from our Operating Account are used directly to pay for our expenses.  Below are just a few of these:

                Electrical bills

                Furnishings and upkeep

                Maintenance and supplies

                Family food

                Linens and supplies for bedrooms

                Computer equipment

Rest assured. Every penny raised here stays here to serve families of Eastern North Carolina.
