The Ronald McDonald House, Brook Valley Country Club, North Carolina’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives and the NGA/Hooter’s Professional Golf Tour present the 2008 Touchstone Energy Open, featuring the McDonald's Pro-Am on Wednesday, April 16th.

This year’s tournament week features a new event on April 16, 2008: The Ultimate Golf Lesson Several stations will be set up with Hooter’s Tour professionals giving instruction on the full swing, chipping and putting for two hours. After the station work four participants will be paired with a Hooter’s Tour player for two hours of on-course teaching of alignment and strategy. Space will be limited to the first 70 players. The cost to participate is $200 and if you play in the Pro Am and participate in the ultimate golf lesson the total cost for both is $300.

“The addition of The Ultimate Golf Lesson is a first for the Hooter’s Tour and we’re excited to initiate this new venue. For the first time amateurs will be able to interact in an intimate setting which will occur before the Pro AM with Tour pros to get individual instruction,”said Donald Pack, Touchstone Energy Open Tournament chair and Ronald McDonald House board secretary.
