Who We Serve

Convenience. Pure and Simple.

Contrary to popular belief, The Ronald McDonald House of Eastern North Carolina does not specifically serve families in Greenville. In fact, we ask that all of our guests reside at least 30 miles away from the house and adjacent Pitt Co. Memorial Hospital.

Eastern North Carolina is home to many families and military personnel with loved ones in this part of the state. If a traumatic event takes place and a child needs emergency care at one of the Greenville Medical facilities, it might be too far to travel back and forth. The Ronald McDonald House gives families who can’t afford an extended stay in a hotel or might be alone because their spouse is called away on duty, a place to call home for a little while.

In 2012, our 628 wonderful families came from 46 Counties in North Carolina.

The Ronald McDonald House strives to provide a sense of family and home to everyone we serve.
